Lakeside Manor (100 Buildings sample preview)
about 1 month ago – Tue, Jan 21, 2025 at 07:58:53 AM

We wanted to give a sneak peek into 100 Buildings and show you the kind of things that will be inside. We're previewing a sample draft page to showcase Lakeside Manor! As you can see the manor comes with a map as well as a full page with lore details and a list of loot that can be found in the building. Each building in this manual is designed to make them ready to plug-n-play into your 5e campaign setting. Whether your party busted into the wrong house in a city and they need an impromptu building right now, or maybe they're traveling and you're looking for something a little cooler than camping under the stars for the fourth night in a row, we've got you covered!

As part of this project, each map will also be fully made available in digital downloads as well to give you the best options that suit your personal play style! From houses to shops and everything in between, 100 Buildings is a wonderful resource to have at your fingertips!

And don't forget to take a peek at today's Creator Corner!

Telarian Steel armor and weapons preview!
about 1 month ago – Sat, Jan 18, 2025 at 01:17:52 PM

Hi!

We wanted to give a sneak peek into Al's forge and the kinds of items you'll be able to see there. We're previewing a sample draft page to showcase Telarian Steel Dragonslayer armor! If you've read the books then you may already be familiar with what the armor can do (or even when the metal is used in weapons!) but we're excited to fully bring the lore and history out into this 5e manual as well as give stats, cost, and other relevant details so players can utilize this amazing material in their games!

So, what exactly does Telarian Steel do when it comes to mechanics?

Glad you asked!

Typically, a full set or armor made from Telarian Steel is +2 AC above its usual counterpart. For example, a full set of plate grants an 18 AC. Telarian Steel Armor grants 20.

Specifically, a suit of dragonslayer armor also grants a "Death Grapple" ability where the wearer --when grappled, or when grappling-- inflicts 2d12 slashing damage by thrashing around and letting the razors and spikes on their armor work their way into their foe!

More than that, any time a creature attacks someone wearing the dragonslayer armor with a part of its body (think claws, tails, biting, unarmed strike, etc.) the attacker takes 1d8 slashing damage.

In our next update we'll highlight a preview for one of the other manuals, but in the meantime, please check out this week's Creator's Corner!

First Stretch goal unlocked!
about 1 month ago – Tue, Jan 14, 2025 at 10:41:59 AM

Good morning everyone!

The first stretch goal, a new one-shot, has been unlocked and will be delivered to all backers after final funding.

The next goal unlocks at $4,000 -- and we will be announcing a couple new goals later this week, so please stay tuned!

Also- we have received a couple of questions about delivery timing, specifically for items already finished that are add-ons. We normally send everything all at once to avoid cluttering inboxes, but if you are a backer and would like to get digital add ons sooner -- like 3-4 weeks after project completion once the funds settle, let us know in the comments below.

We'll likely still keep physical items bundled and sent once everything is ready because it saves on shipping and hours, but we're open to sending digital add-ons sooner if you all would like that as an option.

We hit, and exceeded the funding goal! -- Plus stretch goal announcement!
about 2 months ago – Sat, Jan 11, 2025 at 12:32:30 PM

Hello and thank you! This has been a crazy couple of days since we launched. We have already hit and exceeded our funding goal, and are so excited to be bringing these manuals to life for you!

We just announced our first few stretch goals on the main page -- but we'd like to take just a moment to explain our thought process here.

Given that the project itself is large, and that any one backer could be backing any one manual but not all manuals in the project, we wanted to drive at stretch goals that would enhance everyone's experience.

Therefore, we have devised the following methodology:

Every backer from early bird digital tiers on up will get all unlocked stretch goals in a special digital pack. This will ensure that regardless of which manual you back, you will be able to receive unlocked stretch goals.

Additionally, every stretch goal will be digitally and physically placed into their respective manual. For example, the first stretch goal is a bonus one shot being added to Al's Forge. Assuming that goal is unlocked, those who receive that manual as a reward for their pledge will find the bonus one shot in the manual and will receive a digital "stretch goal pack."

This method seems the most fair to us, as the one shots we have in mind fit in with particular manuals, but we want all backers to take part in any unlocked stretch goals too since the overall funding is a group effort.

BTW -- As of right now we're a little less than $300 away from unlocking the first goal!

As always, if you have any questions, please don't hesitate to reach out.
